MAY 2 2008::
[munk] LIVE AT TWIN RIVER CASINO, LINCOLN RI MAY 2 ::
[munk] will perform, a career spanning 2 hour show at the amazing and immense Lighthouse Pub at Twin River Casino in Lincoln RI, just over the MA border Friday May 2. He will be debuting songs from his latest MODEST AMONG THE LIVING as well as playing old favorites from SEVERED.


APRIL 28 2008::
MODEST AMONG THE LIVING IN ROTATION ON 169 STATIONS ::
FROM PLANETARY GROUP :: As we wrap another week at college radio, we’re still making some great progress! We were happy to be involved and felt like we really found some fans out there! Here are some highlights of our progress:

• In our first week we were added to rotation at 30 stations with CMJ adds from KSYM (San Antonio, TX), WBKE (North Manchester, IN), WLOY (Baltimore, MD), WRBC (Lewiston, ME)

• We charted in the top thirty at five stations: KSYM (peak at #12), KURA (peak at #13) M3 Radio (peak at #3), KFLI (peak at #24 and WMCR (peak at #10)

• We were added to rotation at 169 stations

• We received light airplay or better at 113 stations


FEBRUARY 20 2008::
DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION PASSES 12k DOWNLOADS ::
In an audit of Digital Distribution for [munk] releases through 12/31/07, 12,151 purchased downloads have been registered.

The Digital Distribution outlets include iTunes, iTunes Europe, iTunes Japan, iTunes Canada, Rhaposdy, Napster, Sony Connect, Verizon, Music Match, Ruckus, Emusic, MP3tunes and MSN Music.

Modest Among The Living is the first new album since 2003's Severed will be also be available on these services. The physical CD will be available for purchase, likely before the digital outlets, March 25.

FIVE [munk] TRACKS FEATURED ON CBS SOAP ::
CBS's "The Young and The Restless" recently featured 5 original [munk] songs, including Actual from [munk]'s 2001 debut Anime Sweetheart. TYATR marks the third CBS broadcast to feature [munk] after NCIS and CBS Sports coverage of March Madness.

MODEST AMONG THE LIVING PODCAST DEBUT ::

[munk]'s LIVE @ WORLD AIDS DAY BENEFIT, HARPER'S FERRY ::

On Saturday 12.01, [munk] will take part in the World Aids Day Benefit Concert at Harper's Ferry . This is a very special rock show. December 1 is World AIDS Day, and proceeds from this event go to benefit Mother of Peace Orphanage in Illovo, KZN, South Africa.

Mother of Peace is a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for children affected by the HIV crisis in kwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

[munk] ALLIES WITH PLANETARY GROUP FOR 2008 RELEASE::

Boston based firm, Planetary Group will be handling College Radio Promotion, National Publicity and New Media for the upcoming "Modest Among The Living".

The firm, headed up by founder Adam Lewis, was also on board for [munk]'s 2001 debut "Anime Sweetheart". They secured the debut CD positions in the Top 10 on over 100 College Radio station throughout the U.S.

We are VERY excitied to be working with Adam and his crew again.


OCTOBER 26 2007::
[munk]'s LIVE @ 2007 PODCAMP, BOSTON::

By special request of Accident Hash host C.C. Chapman, [munk] will be performing a special Unplugged set tonight with his full band at The Bulfinch Yacht Club in Boston. Over 1000 regestered attendees from all over the world are expected to pack the tiny club. This will no doubt be a "standing room only show"

Returning to the band tonight will be Fil Pacino, guitarist/vocalist who performed with [munk] throughout 2003/2004 shows supporting "Severed". If you missed Fil's amazing pipe power on songs like "The Lies We Tell", come get a dose tonight.

SPINS ON OVER 500 PODCASTS WORLDWIDE::

This month marks the landmark 500th spin on a podcast for [munk]. His music has now been played on shows as far reaching as New Zealand, Australia, The UK, Japan, Thailand, Germany, France and Mexico, just to name a few.

Pacific Coast Hellway host Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff has called [munk] "the first superstar of New Media".

[munk]'s LATEST SINGLE "SUPERHEROES" DEBUTS::

"Superheroes", the latest single from [munk]'s upcoming third indie release "Modest Among The Living" made it's debut on Adam Curry's Daily Source Code last week (DSC #539), less then 48 hours after the completion of the final mix!

The new track is quickly becoming one of the top downloads on the Podsafe Music Network, certifying yet another hit for [munk] in both the "podosphere" and Sirius Satellite Radio.

"SHADOW FALLS" PREMIERS TODAY - DOWNLOAD IT FROM iTUNES::

"Shadow Falls", podcasting's first professionally-produced original drama series, made its debut today. [munk] scored the soundtrack, including the promotional single "I Am (Molly's Theme)".

Adam Curry said on Daily Source Code #422, "[munk]'s done it again. Wow! - that has monster smash written all over it".

[munk] SCORES PIONEERING DRAMATIC SERIES "SHADOW FALLS" ::

"I Am (Molly's Theme)" is the new single from the soundtrack to "Shadow Falls", Podcasting's first professionally-produced original drama series which tells the eerie tale of a remote Northeastern town that holds secrets some will kill to protect and others will die to expose.

[munk] has also written the main theme as well as incidental music that appears in the first 6 episodes.

"Shadow Falls" is the brainchild of Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff, author of "The Art of Surfacing" and mastermind of the pioneering podcast "Pacific Coast Hellway". The show is executive produced by Adam Curry.

"Dirty Work" on Radio Free Cruze #29 sparked quite a rant by host Cruze. He went on to say...

"The thing I like so much about [munk] is there really is no pigeon-holing this guy... I love that. On today's podcast of former MTV VJ and Podcasting pioneer Adam Curry's show Daily Source Code, Adam officially spun [munk]'s 'Podpeople' in what PCH's Mark Nemcoff characterizes as "a big fuck you" to the governments attempted crack down on Podcasters spinning licensed music.
